With a background in Psychology and certification through ACE, I’ve built this space to help people grow stronger, both mentally and physically. My own journey began when I felt disconnected from who I was. Fitness became my way back — not through perfection, but through progress.

My name is Aubrey Clay, founder of Rooted Fitness - a space where strength meets self-discovery.

With a degree in Psychology and certifications through ACE, my approach to fitness is grounded in more than just physical performance. Movement has been a constant in my life since I was 8 years old, but my real journey began when I felt disconnected from who I was. I didn’t fit neatly into one sport or training style — I just knew I wanted to grow stronger, both mentally and physically.

Fitness became my way back to myself — not just through the weights I lifted, but through the confidence and clarity I gained along the way.

That experience shaped the foundation of Rooted Fitness. Here, we believe that fitness isn’t one-size-fits-all. It’s personal, emotional, and deeply empowering. That’s why I’ve created a space where individuals of all backgrounds can feel seen, supported, and capable of building a fitness routine that’s both effective and sustainable.
